What is Studio Cycle?

Studio Cycling are fun, low-impact cardio classes.  Music creates an energised atmosphere while you instructor guides you through the work out phases – warm up, steady uptempo cadences, sprints, climbs, cool-downs and more.

There are a range of Studio Cycling classes including Resistance, Pro, Endurance, Intervals, Power, Instructor’s Choice, ‘Vibe’ and My Zone so you can find one that suits you.

Studio Cycling Basic is recommended for those who are completely new to Studio Cycling.

What will it do for me?

Studio Cycling is a great low impact, high intensity exercise that will help burn fat, improve aerobic fitness and endurance and gives a great lower body toning workout.

Is it right for me?

Studio Cycling is suitable for everyone aged 16 and over and all fitness levels as your instructor will help make sure you are working at an appropriate level.  You can control the resistance on the bike to make the pedalling as easy or difficult as you choose. However, if you have an ongoing medical condition or injury you should consult with your GP or medical practitioner before beginning a new exercise programme.

What should I wear?

You should wear comfortable, flexible clothes that let you move easily.  Avoid very baggy clothes and bear in mind you may get very warm.  If you wish you may prefer to wear padded cycling shorts.  You don’t need special cycling footwear – trainers are ideal.

What else should I bring?

You don’t need to bring any equipment – just a water bottle to stay hydrated- you may want to bring a towel too.

Studio Cycle classes are available at our centre in Rhyl, Denbigh and Llangollen.

When does this class take place?

You can check when all our classes are on our timetable. It is advisable to book for all classes.
